shows the construction of desire and affect, the fact that there is never a coming together of uninterpreted bodies, but always only the clash of socially constructed fantasies and role-playing games.

The script for this is a composition of extracted verses from famous love songs and sampled organ sounds, by which the characters are animated and instrumentalised in some sort of reverse exorcism.

A woman and a man find themselves in a sitcom set, HE is sitting on the sofa, the TV is on, a car drives up, SHE comes in. There's an immediate conflict of which the characters themselves might not even know the origin. But they follow the script, they try to authenticate the emotions of the music that drives them from room to room, from one situation to the next. And whilst the rehearsed gestures get more alien and the setting more nightmarish, the claimed reality becomes increasingly permeable.
